Interested in helping out as a volunteer?
- Leadership: Be a park of Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club governance by sitting on the Board of Directors
- Time Commitment: Monthly meetings year-round with periodic emails
- Events & Races: Help plan events, or be an official* at our Loppet
- Time Commitment: Varies based on position, can be as little or as much as you want
- *Officials course being offered October 26, 2024
- Coaches/instructors: Share a love of cross-country skiing with children, teens, or adults
- Time Commitment: Every Saturday from January to mid-March for ~1 hour. Coaching certification required. Inquire for details.
- Groomers: Keep our trails in great condition for classic and skate skiing
- Time Commitment: 1-2 times monthly throughout the ski season (training provided)
- Trail maintenance: Periodic need for trail clean up, such as removing fallen trees
- Time Commitment: Once annually (typically in September)
- Day Lodge ambassadors: Be a welcoming host for visitors to our day lodge, help keep the fire stocked, and distribute rental gear as requested (training provided)
- Time Commitment: 1 Saturday or Sunday per month during the ski season (day lodge hours are 10am - 4pm)
