Who we are
The Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club was established in the early 1980’s when the BC Winter Games came to Fort St. John. With some funding they created a basic layout of trails, two narrow loops, that intersected in two spots. These trails served skiers very well for years until the early 2000’s when a new executive decided to start the process to develop the trails that were more to ski industry standards. Today we have a fabulous network of trails for a variety of skill levels!

You may have notice a lot of activity in late October at Beatton. The Club received approval from BC Parks to develop a stadium area (wide level area for starting and finishing races and also for holding ski lessons). A new snowshoe trail loop has been created in conjunction with the stadium area development. This loop will provide a shorter loop for snowshoers and hikers as well as replace the original trail head in the cleared stadium area.
