Who we are

The Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club was established in the early 1980’s when the BC Winter Games came to Fort St. John. With some funding they created a basic layout of trails, two narrow loops, that intersected in two spots. These trails served skiers very well for years until the early 2000’s when a new executive decided to start the process to develop the trails that were more to ski industry standards. Today we have a fabulous network of trails for a variety of skill levels!

New Snowshoe Trail Routing

A new snowshoe trail loop has been created in conjunction with the stadium area development.  This loop will provide a shorter loop for snowshoers and hikers as well as replace the original trail head in the cleared stadium area. You can find maps on the trail map page (click here for more information)

  1. A big thank you from the Northern Environmental Action Team! The top bidder for the auction prize you donated ( rental pack and lesson for 2 ) was Lynette Hewitt.

  2. Is anyone else finding the online registration forces them to spend $19 on the BC and Canadian ski clubs? I would drop off money in person to avoid that.

    1. Hi Ben, I hope you got the information via email/facebook on the valuable need for members to belong to Cross Country BC and Cross Country Canada. We would love to have you as a member.
