Welcome to Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club’s Skill Development Program! We offer lessons for children aged 4-12 years, following Nordiq Canada’s athlete development program. Our enthusiastic volunteer coaches are NCCP trained and incorporate ski skills into games and activities, making each lesson lots of fun.
Lessons run weekly from January 11, 2025 to March 15, 2025.
Our program is designed to:
- Be fun!
- Develop fitness through active play, games, and other activities
- Provide children an opportunity to be part of a sport ‘team’
- Develop competence in the life-long sport of cross country skiing
- Develop an appreciation for our natural environment during the winter
Participants are eligible for KidSport grants.
