Welcome to Whiskey Jack Nordic Ski Club’s Skill Development Program! We offer lessons for children aged 4-14* years, following Nordiq Canada’s athlete development program. Our enthusiastic volunteer coaches are NCCP trained and incorporate ski skills into games and activities, making each lesson lots of fun.
*Please note that we are unable to offer lessons to beginner skiers ages 8+. Please email whiskeyjacknsc@gmail.com to inquire about lessons outside of the SDP program.
Lessons run weekly from January 10, 2026 to March 14, 2026.
Our program is designed to:
- Be fun!
- Develop fitness through active play, games, and other activities
- Provide children an opportunity to be part of a sport ‘team’
- Develop competence in the life-long sport of cross country skiing
- Develop an appreciation for our natural environment during the winter
Participants are eligible for KidSport grants.
